Packaging Engineering – Brighton is a full-service provider of beaded molded foam (BMF). This process includes the design, prototyping, tooling, molding and assembly of BMF. For almost 20 years, we have been helping clients and businesses achieve their goals by bringing their products to market.

Packaging Engineering – Brighton (PE-B) has over three decades of experience in supporting part designs that are cost-effective, functional and designed for manufacturing and long-term quality. PE-B specializes in helping clients in a wide variety of industries to determine if the BMF is the right process to meet their needs. This includes deciding what foam product best accomplishes their objective by utilizing either an expanded polystyrene (EPS), expanded polypropylene (EPP), expanded polyethylene (EPE), specialty co-polymers or a foam combination.

Packaging Engineering – Brighton (PE-B) proudly specializes in design and engineering services for expanded polystyrene (EPS), expanded polypropylene (EPP) and other beaded molded foam (BMF) processes. PE-B can provide expertise with high adaptability and know-how in molded foam appliance parts, returnable packaging, automotive components and manufacturing.

From concept design to prototyping, PE-B offers computer-aided (CAD) services to assist clients and businesses with specific ideas, goals and needs. We design to optimize for molding, tool construction, functional use and long-term quality. When designing products for manufacturing or other industries, we can take an end concept and turn it into a moldable, functional part design.

Prototyping

Tooling, molding and prototyping has been PE-B’s primary business since its founding, and we understand the manufacturing process requirements from prototyping to production for a wide variety of industries. We achieve project goals with wide-ranging prototyping capabilities and create models with enhanced precision by utilizing streamlined processes and materials including EPS, EPP, EPE and specialty co-polymers.

For rapid turnaround time, we use state-of-the-art CNC machining to create highly accurate machined parts as well as prototype assemblies-where we are able to add inserts, wires, plastic parts, tape or anything else needed to duplicate the final assembled product. Additionally, we offer options for molded prototypes, mini-tools, and cavities (a process that can accelerate the molded parts process in a ¼ of the time of tooling for R&D and short lead times).
